Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio, is an American actor. She is best known for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills in ABC's Lost TV show. After her parents' divorce her parents separated, she moved to Worthington Ohio in order to settle at Los Angeles. In 2001, despite her finances she managed get her first significant part in the web-based video series Rachel's Room as the main character. The role she played as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. movie Murder In Greenwich in 2002 earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. Grace appeared as Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. She was the main role for two seasons, and won a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace decided to leave the show in order to pursue a film career. She had starred alongside Tom Welling opposite in The Fog earlier in the year 2005. The actress starred as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 as well as Taken (2008) alongside Liam Neeson. She reprised the role in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the leading role in Alice on Malice in Wonderland a modern version of Lewis Carroll's classic novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace performed the role of Shannon again in Lost's finale and in two additional episodes. In 2013, she appeared in Season 6 of Californication. She portrays Faith, who is an admirer and muse to the stars. Hank Moody as played by David Duchovny falls in love with her. She was recognized as the best supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her portrayal of a single mother in Crazy Heart. Then she continued to appear in comedy films and dramas like Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Will Not Back Down (12). In addition to her role as a Secret Service agent, she was also seen as a character in White House Down (2013) and Frank (2014).
