Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actress. His professional career began in television parts, which included Opposite Sext in 2000. Following appearances in several teen films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he became famous for his portrayal of Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in movie adaptations of comics and graphic novels: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). Evans' portrayal as Steve Rogers/Captain America in his role in Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014, 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in addition to Endgame in 2019 earned him even more recognition. The Marvel movies made him one of the highest-paid Hollywood actors.
